The inaugural Catawba Farm Fest was small, but packed with talented musicians and artisans that provided an intimate experience for the local and traveling crowd. Embedded in the beautiful Catawba Valley, the Catawba Sustainability Center was the perfect venue for natural acoustics and space for flat-footers and hula-hoopers alike. The Catawba Valley Farmers Market showcased local meat and produce, artisan crafts and baked goods on Saturday of the festival. Many area residents were excited to share with newcomers their deliciously fresh food and local talent. We hope very much to see it happen again next year!
