Roanoke College to host lecture on honesty in government Sept. 20

Stephen Carter, who is the William Nelson Cromwell Professor of Law at Yale Law School, will speak about the importance of honesty to constitutional government on Thursday, Sept. 20 at Roanoke College.
He joins a distinguished list of guest speakers who have appeared for the College’s Constitution Day celebrations through the years.
A New York Times best- selling author, Carter has written numerous books including his newest work, “The Impeachment of Abraham Lincoln.”
Carter’s appearance is sponsored by the Henry H. Fowler Public Policy Lecture Series.

The event will be held at 7:30 p.m. at Roanoke’s Olin Hall. Free tickets are required and available at www.roanoke.edu/tickets.
