GHS to host regional cheer competition on Tuesday, Oct. 23
Glenvar High School will play host to the Region C cheerleading competition on Tuesday, Oct. 23. However, due to work installing air conditioning in Glenvar’s gym, the competition will physically be held at Eastern Montgomery High School, according to Glenvar High School cheerleading coach Katie Norris.
Competing teams, according to Norris, are Glenvar High School, James River High School, Auburn High School, Radford High School and Graham High School.
Doors open at 6 p.m. with the first team presenting at 6:20 p.m. Admission is $5.
Eastern Montgomery is located at 4695 Crozier Road in Elliston.
