Greg Habeeb wants your help to support the YoungLife Banquet on Oct. 22
The following is from an email sent to folks on Del. Greg Habeeb’s mailing list:
As you know, the work that my colleagues and I do in Richmond each year is important in many ways. However, I can honestly say that nothing we do in Richmond can have as big of a positive impact on our community as the work being done by Young Life.
My life was impacted dramatically by Young Life in high school and, right here in our community, Young Life is ministering to hundreds of middle school, high school, college and special needs students everyday.
Even though our kids aren’t yet “Young Life age,” Christy and I do everything we can to support it so that it will be here for Daniel, William and Anna in the future.
To that end, Christy and I would like to invite you to join us as our guests at the Young Life banquet at the Salem Civic Center on October 22 from 7 to 9 p.m. We’ve already paid for the tables, we just need you to help us fill them.
As with everything Young Life does, this event will be casual. We’ll still let you in if you wear a tie, but you really don’t need to!
Finally, if you know of other people who might enjoy spending an evening with Young Life, please feel free to invite them. We just need you to RSVP by Friday, October 19.
If you are interested in joining us that evening, please [...] email christyhabeeb@yahoo.com.
Thank you,
Greg
