Salem Girl Scouts support the Salem Animal Shelter
On Friday, 55 of Salem City’s Girl Scouts came together to celebrate the founder of Girl Scouts, Juliette Gordon Low. Her birthday falls on Halloween so a costume party seemed appropriate. Marking the 100th year of Girl Scouting, the event held at First United Methodist Church on Main St. raised a car full of donations to the Salem Animal Shelter and $90 cash. Pictured here some of Troop 4: Serena Fick, Danielle Davis, Madison Sower, Mackenzie Brodrecht, Mackenlee Simmons, Emma Painter, Bailee Lintner (in front), Faith Carter, Erin Helton, Ali Lintner and Sierrah Deel. Not pictured members of Troop 909, 417, 965 and 1273.
