Salem High School chorus members to perform with The Chorus of the Blue Ridge
The Chorus of the Blue Ridge (formerly the Salem Choral Society) will host a concert on Sunday, Oct. 28 at the Jefferson Center, located at 541 Luck Ave. in Roanoke.
Joining them will be chorus members from Salem High School, Lord Botetourt High School and James River High School. There will be about 100 singers on the stage, according to Aaron Garber, founder, conductor and music director for The Chorus of the Blue Ridge.
The show begins at 3 p.m., and performers will sing “Carmina Burana” by Carl Orff. The program boasts three soloists: Robert Kerr and Tony Burdette, both from Ohio, and local singer Adelaide Trombetta.
Ticket prices range from $15 to $25 and can be purchased by calling the Jefferson Center Box Office at 540-345-2550 or by clicking here. Students 25-years-old and younger will receive free admission.
