Salem’s Salon VeLuxe to participate in Blue Out day in support of National Diabetes Awareness Month
Sarah Chambers of JDRF shares the following information about two upcoming ‘Blue Out’ events in November in support of National Diabetes Awareness Month.
Thursday, Nov. 1, is Type 1 Day and the first of two Blue Out days; the second comes on Wednesday, Nov. 14, which is World Diabetes Day.
Salon VeLuxe in Salem will be participating on Nov. 1 by offering $10 blue hair streaks. All proceeds will go to JDRF. Salon VeLuxe is located at 27 E. Main Street in Salem.
