Let’s face it, whether or not we like Halloween and all the mischief the night entails, children young and old love to dress up is an array of disguises and look forward to collecting candy from the moment the pumpkins first start appearing in the stores. However, there are aspects of Halloween from which we often want to protect our children. In an effort to provide families with a fun and safe alternative, Fellowship Community Church is offering a Trunk or Treat on Wednesday, Oct. 31, from 6-8 p.m.
This Trunk or Treat promises a night of candy, games, prizes and activities for free. Bring the entire family out and enjoy trick-or-treating at over 50 car trunks, and plan to play hilarious games such as pumpkin bowling. There will be face painting and pumpkin decorating and so many events that ensure you and your child have a one-stop fantastic evening.
Fellowship Community Church will also offer the option of purchasing dinner while families are out during the evening hours. There will be inexpensive $1 dinner bundles, which include a hotdog, chips and a drink. The church family has also been busy cooking to prepare for a bake sale as well! The proceeds of the dinner bundles and bake sale will go to support our 2013 mission teams as they travel to countries such as Zambia, India, Haiti and more.
FCC welcomes all families no matter your race, nationality, religious background or family makeup. Come on out on Oct. 31 to 1226 Red Lane Extension from 6-8 p.m. and enjoy an entertaining and safe way to spend the evening. See you there!
