Photos: Annie Lin and Jerry Wu at Taiwan’s longest ladder bridge
Annie Lin shares these photos and writes:
My oldest sister (林美鳳), my son, Jerry Wu, and I rode a tour bus to travel to the Sky Bridge (天空之橋) in Nantou (南投). It is the longest ladder bridge in Taiwan.
The bus stopped at different locations to pick people up so there were 40 more people in the bus. The bus attendant opened karaoke singing. I sang a song “Spring Breeze” (望春風) in Taiwanese. She told everyone, I live in U.S.A., but I still remember Taiwanese songs.
The bus stopped at Taiwan Mochi (麻糬) Museum, which introduced how to make mochi, everyone had free mochi sample. Then we went to the Shanglee Company (香格食品), a pork company, opened to public, free pork produce sample, and sale product…
When we arrived the Sky Bridge. Wow! a crowd of people. Everyone can carry umbrella, but can’t open it while walking thru the sky bridge. Here was the one-way bridge , everyone enters, but can’t come back. It is one-way. The weather was hot! hot! hot!!! my son, Jerry was very, very tired. We took some pictures, you will see tired unhappy looks from his face. One thing to make Jerry happy that we stopped at a local restaurant for lunch and dinner. Jerry ate Chinese food such as rice, pork, and used chopstick (筷子).
Anyway, the sky bridge was good thing to see special scenery. Please let me to share my pictures with you.
