Photos: Annie Lin and Jerry Wu attend Romney-Ryan rally
Annie Lin shares these photos and writes:
At 12 noon on Thursday, Oct 4, 2012, I pick my son, Jerry Wu at Fallon Park Elementary School. We were going to see Romney-Ryan Rally and Trace Adkins concert at Augusta Expoland in Fishersville, Virginia.
I followed Google map directions, I don’t have a GPS, I made a wrong turn, nut luckily at 1:30 pm we arrived at Augusta Expoland. When we arrived there, a crowd of people were already lined up for the 4pm door opening. Jerry wore Romney ‘s T-shirt with stickers on and I dressed in as “Romney ” (I made it from yard signs), and Romney buttons outfit with my American giant hat. When Jerry and I stood in the line to wait for the 4pm door opening. WDBJ7 (A reporter, Jean Jedhon) , channel 13, and channel 29 (I don’t know where is TV station) were there and then interviewed me. A “News Leader” photographer Nike Tripp, took our pictures for the Staunton newspaper. (A friend lives there, she told me later). Next day, so many people told me, they saw Annie at 5pm on October 4 WDBJ 7 news. I did not see myself on TV. I wish had a copy.
After the door opened, we passed the security check. We found the spot to wait until 6 pm when the event began. I needed to get out to buy food and drink for Jerry. People saw me, asked me for a picture again. They really liked my outfit.
At 6pm, Trace Adkins sang were on stage; Susan Allen, Bob Goodlatte, Bill Bolling were on stage, the Paul, finally Romney. A crowd of people waved the American flags, shouting “USA” “Romney”…
Jerry and I stood close to the front of the stage at 9:30pm when the event closed. We luckily could shake hands with Paul, I have his autograph. Now I needed to find the way to go back home. Finally, we got home at 11:30pm that is a long long day. but we saw Romney and Paul-Really. I was on WDBJ7 (really cool!!!).
