Photos: Annie Lin attends Paul Ryan event in Lynchburg
Annie Lin shares these photos and writes:
On Tuesday, October 16, 2012, I was one of the volunteers who participated in Paul Ryan at ACS (Automuted Conveyor Systems, INC) event in Lynchburg.
The doors opened at 9am, event at 11am, I drove over there at 8am. They gave me a picture-badge with Paul’s pass for volunteers. I was dressed in “Romney” style. You know, young, older, women, men, kids asked me to take my picture. The volunteers helped a crowd of people to pass security check, through the grounds to be sure everyone got spot. When Paul Ryan hopped out of a big, black pick up truck of ACS and stood in the stage, a crowd of people waved the American flags and said “USA”. We can’t afford four more year”. this was my second time to see Paul in action.
Taking aim at “the absolute unraveling of the Obama foreign policy”, Ryan said the proposed cuts to the nation’s militarily, particularly in a state with the highest proportion of military and federal employment in the nation, would be devastating economically and strategically.
After the event, Paul went down the stage, and I was lucky to shake hands with and get his autographs again with have pictures taken.
I liked the signs “VA LOVE’S ROMNEY RYAN”, “WE CAN’T AFFORD FOUR MORE YEARS”, “WE NEED A REAL RECOVERY”.
