Photos: Annie Lin on Election Day

Annie Lin shares these photos and writes:

At 7:00pm on November 5, I took my son, Jerry to the Salem Civic Center for the Republican meeting. There were Delegates Greg Habeeb, Senator Ralph Smith, Congressman Bob Goodlatte, and Congressman Morgan Griffith. Perople liked my Romney outfit.

On Election Day, Jerry and I went to vote, then he had a dental appointment. The Dentist, Robert W. Kaiser is a family doctor. He is a Romney supporter, when I told him how many times I saw Romney and Ryan, and I had picture with them. He said “That’s my girl!”. We both laughed.

Then I went to the Salem Civic Center for the party for volunteers at the polls, I dressed as “Romney” So everyone know who will vote for him. I saw Larry Meadows, he is one from 6am to 7pm Republican volunteers at the Salem Civic Center. He was on “So Salem” newspaper. He is Vietnam Veterans too.

At 6pm, I left Salem Civic Center. Then I brought my son, Jerry to the Hotel Roanoke for the Republican party. A crowd of people watched on the big screen TV. We saw that first winner was Bob Goodlatte. We had a picture and autograph with him. We did not stay longer. Before we left, TheRoanokeStar.com news Editor, Gene Marrano, he took my picture, and said “A Republican booster shows her colors at Hotel Roanoke”.

When we got home, I saw my yard signs had disappeared, someone took it away!!! After I watched TV, I found that 5th district Robert Hurt, 9th District Morgan Griffith, Montgomery CO. Prosecutor Mary Pattitt all had won. Unfortunately, “Future President” Romney did not win. I just felt sick. Very Very Upset!!! Anyway, I need to go to bed. I need to work tomorrow.
