Leah Shumate of Salem and president of the SCA at West Salem Elementary, takes some of her own recovery time from surgery to GIVE back to her community. She wanted so badly to be a part of the blanket-making for the Children’s Miracle Network. She took such pride and smiled often as she completed her blanket and card for another child that might not be feeling good or just need an extra something to make the day brighter!
