2nd arrest made in Roanoke County theft of vehicle batteries
Roanoke County police arrested a second person in the October theft of 200 used vehicle batteries from an Interstate Batteries store.
Andrew James Mandakis, a 29-year-old Roanoke man, joins 28-year-old Chelsea D. Thompson in facing grand larceny charges over the theft of $20,000 worth of batteries from the Interstate Batteries store in the 3100 block of West Main Street in western Roanoke County.
