Holiday lights: Lots of lights on Cherrywood Road

The Roanoke Times is once again inviting people with big displays of Christmas lights to enter them in an online database of the best and brightest in Western Virginia.

We have details here and the complete list of lit-up locations here.

Among those is one from Salem:

Address: 811 Cherrywood Road , Salem , VA 24153
What visitors will see: Lights on house, trees, shrubbery and throughout the yard
Display times: 5:00 PM-11:30 PM
