As we are gearing up for the store next weekend, fundraising plans are already underway for next year’s store!  We are excited to announce that the Roanoke Moose Lodge #284 (located at 3233 Catawba Valley Drive) is partnering with the Community Christmas Store (CCS) of the Roanoke Valley to host a Holiday Dance on Saturday, Dec. 29, 2012, to benefit the CCS.

.U.B.U. The Band, from Greensboro, will be playing. Check them out at www.ubutheband.com. The dance will be held at the Roanoke Moose Lodge from 8 p.m. to midnight; doors open at 7:15 p.m. Dress is casual and tickets are $10 per person. Beverages and food will be available for purchase during the dance, and this is a 21 and older event.

Tickets can be purchased in advance from a CCS representative, by calling 540-915-3039 or at the Moose Lodge. We will also have tickets available for purchase during the CCS dates next Friday and Saturday, Dec. 7-8 and tickets will be sold at the door on the night of the dance.
