Rosalind Hills Baptist Church CDC adds Drop-In Care to afterschool program
Rosalind Hills Baptist Church Child Development Center announces the addition of Drop-In Care to their after-school ministry program.
The Drop-In Care option allows parents in need of short-term care for their children to “drop-in.” The program is available during school holidays, teacher workdays and after school for children in Roanoke or Salem who are not enrolled in RHBCDC’s full time after-school program.
“Drop-In Care is a great alternative for parents who find themselves in a bind during school breaks and need childcare,” said coordinator Leigh Atkinson.
RHBCDC is available for children in grades K-5 and is open after school until 6:30 p.m. and from 7:30 a.m. until 6:30 p.m. when school is closed for full days, including inclement weather closures. Spaces are often limited so please contact the RHBCDC office at 339-9369 to reserve your space at least 48 hours in advance if possible.
The program follows the Roanoke City school calendar, but children from Roanoke County and Salem City Schools are welcome when holidays/teacher workdays parallel Roanoke City Schools. Transportation is provided for Virginia Heights, Grandin Court and Wasena elementary schools for after-school care.
A complete registration form is required for the drop-in program and must be turned in before or on the child’s first day. Parents may fill out a form and have it on file with the office in the event last minute care is needed. RHBCDC is located at 2712 Brandon Ave. in Roanoke.
Visit www.rosalindhills.org/CDC for cost information and to download a registration form.
RHBCDC is a ministry of Rosalind Hills Baptist Church.
