‘Staying Connected to Your Teen’ program offered during lunch and evenings
Do you have a pre-teen or teen? How connected do you feel to your teen? Blue Ridge Behavioral Healthcare Prevention Services is offering the opportunity to participate in the evidence based “Staying Connected to your Teen” program. This is a six-session program designed to give parents/guardians the opportunity to come together with other parents of teens and enhance the skills needed to help their teens successfully navigate through adolescence. This program is offered FREE of charge to anyone in the Roanoke Valley. We will be offering two upcoming opportunities to participate in the Staying Connected to your Teen program. The lunch-time series will be held from noon to 2 p.m. on Wednesday afternoons beginning Jan. 16 to Feb. 20. The evening sessions will be held Tuesday evenings from 6 to 8 p.m. beginning Feb. 12 to March 19. The program will be held at Blue Ridge Behavioral Healthcare (3517 Brandon Ave, Roanoke, VA 24018). Please contact Ashley Hatcher at 540-982-1427, ext 2132, or ahatcher@brbh.org to register to participate or for more information.
