The City of Salem Parks and Recreation Department along with Q99-FM are all set to present the 6th annual “Winterfest Beach Bash” on Friday, February 1, 2013, at 6pm at the Salem Civic Center. The popular group “The Band of Oz” will be in town to help melt away the winter cold with a little summertime fun.

Tickets are now on sale at the Salem Parks & Recreation Department, 620 Florida Street. Admission is $10 in advance and $12 at the door – cash and checks only. Doors will open at 5pm on February 1 and proceeds from the event will benefit the Penguin Club’s community service projects.
