Annie Lin visits the Elks National Home

The Elks National Home’s annual outdoor Christmas light display is best seen by vehicle. The display is illuminated from 5:30 pm to 10 pm through New Year Eve.

The display which started modestly in 1953 with a few lights and a Christmas tree, has grown to more than 60,000 lights. Cars line up down the street before the lights even flip on.

Well over 25,000 vehicles pass through the grounds each Christmas season. and it is estimated that over 125,000 people view the display.

On Tuesday, December 25, 2012, I took Jerry to the Elks National Home in Bedford, Virginia. I followed cars one by one to see the beautiful Christmas lights. Then, I did not follow rules, I really wanted my pictures, so we took some pictures there. See!!! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! The Three Kings! Away in a Manager!…I enjoyed it.

It was my first time visited so beautiful Christmas lights at the Elks National Home. I hope you like it.
