Barre exercise is one of our fastest growing group exercise programs, with classes at both Brambleton Center and Green Ridge Recreation Center. New sessions start this Thursday at Green Ridge Recreation Center and next Monday at Brambleton Center. Limited spaces are available.
This low impact, extraordinarily effective program firms, lengthens, and shapes muscles to their optimal form! We start with warm-up exercises and stretches, then we use light hand weights for toning the upper body, followed by highly effective deep tissue concentrated exercises to work the thighs, and seat. We will finish with some ab targeting mat work. You will feel new strength, increased flexibility, and more graceful. Popular throughout the country, the barre workout has evolved over the years from the Lotte Berk Method and Callanetics.
