Photos: Annie Lin has breakfast with Santa
I brought my son, Jerry to the Vinton Moose Lodge at 9:00am on Saturday, December 15, 2012 for a breakfast with Santa for Special Olympics Area 8 Bowling Team.
Linda is the volunteer coordinator for Special Olympics area 8, she allowed me to do my Tai-Chi demonstration there. When we got there, a crowd of people sat around the tables. First, we ate scrambled egg, bacon, sausage, biscuit with gravy and drink. After, I did my performance, people clapped for me. Then, Mr. and Mrs. Santa came at the party. All of kids and adults liked to see them. Everyone stood in the long lines to take a picture. Jerry gave his Christmas wish list to Santa. He also showed his talking Santa hat. Everyone laughed it.
Thanks to the Vinton Moose Lodge who gave the breakfast with Santa. They wrote a check to Linda for the Special Olympics area 8. It was a wonderful day for the event.
When I drove home, I got pulled over by police man in an unmarked car. He said I made an illegal pass on a solid yellow line. I said ” I’m sorry,” then he checked my driver’s license and he said, ” I’m not giving Mrs. Santa a ticket.” I told him “Merry Christmas!”
