Photos: Annie Lin helps out Jingle Bell Run/Walk for Arthritis

The 22 nd annual Jingle Bell Run/Walk for Arthritis on Saturday, December 8, 2012 took place at 9am in Downtown Roanoke.

Jerry and I went there early to pick our t-shirts. Kim is my co-worker, and she saw us, and gave a purple hat with Friendship log on it to Jerry. then we went around to get some pictures. There were family, friends, companies, dogs together for “Run or Walk.”

At 9:00am, the runners started, then walkers, most people had bells on, you heard jingles on the way. I had small and big bells on my shoes, bag, and clothes; Jerry had a jingles bell hat on. We saw a woman who wore Christmas tree outfit and held 1/2 mile sign at the side walk.

I am so proud of Jerry. He did it. We followed people and went to the City Market building for free food and drink. They had awards for runners, sponsors of the event raised $90,000.

It was the first time we had participated in the event. We felt great. I can’t wait for next year, can you?
