Salem Host Lions donate more than $18,000 to community groups
During the clubs January 15th meeting, the Salem Host Lions donated over $18,000 to representatives of local community groups during a Community Appreciation Dinner at the Salem Civic Center. Recipients are from left to right include: Jenny McCormick (Salem/Roanoke County Food Pantry), Kristine Bronnenkant (Community Christmas Store), Nancy Robertson (Salem Needlework Guild), Jerry Brittain (Military Family Support Center) and Becky Parson (Community Outreach Program – not pictured).
