Kimberly Martin of Catawba graduated with a bachelor of science degree in psychology from James Madison University during the Dec. 15, 2012, commencement exercises.

She was also named to the university’s president’s list for the fall 2012 semester. Students who receive president’s list honors must carry a semester course load of at least 12 graded credit hours and earn a GPA of 3.9 or above.

Jonathan Alger, who presided over his first commencement exercises as president of the university, conferred degrees to 782 graduates. Marine Corps Maj. Justin Constantine, an Iraq War veteran and advocate for the Wounded Warrior Project, spoke at the ceremony Saturday, December 15, 2012 in Harrisonburg, Va.
