Photos: Jerry Wu’s Birthday
December 5 is my son, Jerry Wu’s birthday. I requested a day off. At 2:15 pm Jerry and I went to Syndra Nursing Home to do my Tai-Chi demonstration and sang Christmas songs in Chinese, such as Joy to the world, Away in a manger, Silent night…
They saw us and said, “Thank you for coming.” Jerry wore a Santa stuck in chimney upside down hat. When Jerry touch a button, the hat moved and sang. They really liked Jerry’s Santa hat and my Christmas songs.
After my performance, I took Jerry to Red Lobster for his birthday dinner, because my co-worker, Marlene gave us a gift card. She knows Jerry likes to eat. Jerry enjoyed his shrimps dish, me too. Thank you so much, Marlene my special co-worker. Red Lobster services sang “Happy Birthday” to Jerry. Jerry blew out candle and ate his cake. We had fun there.
A week ago, I sent Jerry’s picture to WDBJ 7 birthday. I made a note “Please do not crop picture.” The picture was Jerry and 2012 Miss Virginia. Thanks WDBJ7. Happy Birthday to Jerry!!!
