Annual Easter egg hunt set for Saturday, March 23

The City of Salem Easter Egg Hunt will be held on Saturday, March 23, at Longwood Park from 1-3 p.m.

This year’s Easter Egg Hunt is for children ages three to 10 only and will begin promptly at 1 p.m.!

Children will need to bring a container to collect the eggs, and the Easter Bunny will be making a visit to give out candy and say hello to the kids. There also will be lots of fun children’s activities and free food samples ranging from popcorn to ice cream.

The event is sponsored by The City of Salem Parks and Recreation Department and Salem Kiwanis Club. For additional information, call the Parks and Recreation Department at 375-3057.

The event will be held rain or shine.
