Garland’s Men’s Outfitters opens in Crystal Spring (with slideshow)

A menswear store that I told you about in July has opened.

Jody Fleming and his wife Becky Garland opened Garland’s Men’s Outfitters at 2209 Crystal Spring Avenue in Roanoke about four weeks ago.

They carry Bills Khakis, Gitman Bros., Alden, Crittenden and Eyebobs reading glasses. Although it’s a men’s store, you’ll also find a small selection of Barbour outerwear for women.

The store specializes in made-to-measure shirts and tailored clothing.

I swung by yesterday to see the store. Here’s a taste of what I saw.

I looked in the window last night…very nice, very high end. Lots of Barbour. Even a doggie raincoat.

This store is a fabulous addition to Roanake. It is not only the epitomy of style, but it’s owners are both Virginians….Becky is the daughter of Bob Garland ie: Garlands Drugstore which is a very important part of Roanoke’s history and Jody was born and raised in Bristol. You are so lucky to have them….we miss them greatly in Charlotte.

Turning back the hands of time.

I love the displays & how beautiful they’ve made the interior.
