I really think Target needs to be careful not to loose what is working for them in the Roanoke store, I like them for the nice layout of the departments, calm environment, I just don't want to wait in line behind someone with a buggy full of groceries it has been my experience when you start downsizing department's to make way for food you loose certain clientele,I wonder if they did a survey of the shoppers to see if they prefer more food items,in this store at the expense of downsizing other departments, I only come to this conclusion because your story did not mention store expansion, just upgrade. I know in this space Target is land locked on both sides only way to expand would be into the parking lot.
