The Burgs is reporting that the comic book store Beholder’s Eye on North Main Street in Blacksburg will close April 29.

The owners told community journalist Mike Shaw that they were ready to do something different. Shaw reports that several people were interested in buying the business, but nothing has worked out.

The owner of North Main Plaza LLC is in negotiations with a few other established businesses that want to move into the comic book store’s space, according to Shaw’s story.

Beholder’s Eye opened in 1998. Read more here.
