Now taking bets, who gets done first? Cook-Out or Stake ‘n Shake?

Can’t wait. Had Cookout on the way home from Motor Mile Speedway in Radford Saturday night. Great that it is going to be in town. The teenage son loves it so he will be happy.

    Yeah!

Do you know what’s up with Big Lick BBQ on Brandon Ave.? They’ve been closed now for three weeks.

I really don’t see the reason for wanting them here. It’s not good food. Steak and shake is bad bad bad. Cook out is not all its hyped up to be. And yes I have had food from both places. roanokers need to aim a little higher.

Excited about Cook Out coming to Roanoke – great prices and the staff are always very friendly.

Isn’t this location the one that Steak ‘n Shake was SUPPOSED to go on? The one where Western Sizzlin (now part of Steak ‘n Shake) was?

    Yep, CHRIS. We’re big time.

Cook Out is a block up in the 1400s. Steak n Shake’s site is 1309.

Beth, Big Lick BBQ has gone out of business. Not sure if it has been reported here, or what the reasons are, but I assume it’s just tough to keep a BBQ place going, or any restaurant in this economy.

Not the big time I want Lori!
