I wrote more on the Women, Infants and Children community wellness centerat Valley View Mall. I included more from my interview with Dr. Stephanie Harper, district health director for the Virginia Department of Health. Also, Gander Mountain in Roanoke will be hosting a grand opening next Saturday, Sept. 30. They have doubled their footwear offerings and tripled their firearms selection. They’ve hired about 40 new employees to accommodate the store expansion.
We wrote about Fashion Bug’s shuttering across the nation earlier this year. I’ve got more information from the company about the Roanoke store’s closing and special inventory sales.

4650 rent is absurd, there is no reason to locate at VV. Multiply this waste by all the states and cities across the US where they do stupid things just like this. The government has no regard as to how they spend our tax dollars. (Both parties)
So agreed RM SO AGREED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
$4650 montly rent is INSANE!!!!!! And they will only be open 22 hours a week!!!!! WHY AREN’T MORE PEOPLE OUTRAGED?!?!?! This is an outragous use of federal tax money!!! Where is the ACCOUNTABIITY?!?!?
Well at least they should be gone first of the year!
