Cups Coffee & Tea expands to Salem

This blog post has been corrected to reflect that the Cups location on Brambleton Avenue has closed.

So Salem’s Avery Eliades has a blog post today about Cups Coffee & Tea expanding to Salem in Roanoke College’s Fintel Library.

This will be Cups second location. The first is on Grandin Road. Last year owner Michelle Bennett opened a second location, Cups A Go-Go, on Brambleton Avenue, but it closed four months later.

Read more about the Roanoke College location on the So Salem blog.

Not related to this article but been noticing the
construction of Steak-N-Shake & it appears to
be smaller than what I anticipated. Looks too
small to be a sit down restaurant.

Not related to this article, but I was on Urbanspoon today, and they have Xinachtli listed as temporarily closed?

@Salemite: I just tried calling and didn’t get an answer. Does anyone else know anything about the closing? I will add it to my list of things to check on.
