A Lebanese restaurant that opened in downtown Roanoke this spring is offering customers the ability to order meals online and will soon have a delivery service.
Cedars restaurant owner Gaby Saliba, who has a background in computer technology, said he set up the restaurant’s online ordering system, which went live last month.
Saliba is also working on hiring employees to deliver meals. Delivery will start in the downtown area and expand to the city. The delivery service might eventually expand to Roanoke County, Saliba said. That service won’t be available until mid-fall or the beginning of winter, which is when most people will use it, Saliba said.
The Lebanese restaurant also recently received its license from the Virginia Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control to sell wine and beer. The restaurant has several types of beer and wine available, Saliba said.
