Williamson Road is has a variety of restaurants, many of them ethnic. Next week the Williamson Road Area Business Association is holding a restaurant week to showcase to the area’s offerings.
“We’ve got some really wonderful restaurants on Williamson Road,” said Wendy Jones, executive director of the WRABA.
This is the first year the WRABA has held the event. Jones organized restaurant week because she wanted attract new customers to Williamson Road and introduce them not only to the area’s eateries, but also other businesses they will pass by, she said.
Participating restaurants are offering special entrees or special discounts for restaurant week, which begins Monday and ends Oct. 13.
In addition to seafood, barbecue, pizza, hot dogs and sub shops, Williamson Road also boasts Greek, Vietnamese, Cuban, Mexican and Korean restaurants.
