Brian Redd: pop’n in camel, Jefferson and Kirk, Roanoke

Name: Brian Redd

Who are your style icons? “Kanye West, he has a fresh yet classic style. Sean John and Puff Daddy are good ones as well.”

What’s this outfit’s signature piece? “My jacket, I just got it from Banana Republic.”

Occupation: Vice President and Senior Client Manager at Bank of America

Age: 35

Location: Jefferson and Kirk, Roanoke

Date: Wednesday, November 14, 2012

Time: 1:03 p.m.

What caught my eye: Brian is definitely taking cues off Kanye, that camel color double breasted topcoat demands attention and sartorial respect. A popped coat collar doesn’t just keep the cold air off your neck; it adds some attitude to your winter wear. Pop your collar guys, it’s fun!

About this blog

Welcome to The Roanoke Times' Style Street blog where I, David Verde, will share my street fashion finds from around Southwest Virginia.

How do I do it? I go on a walk with my camera, and when I find people I think look stylish or unique, I stop them and ask if I can take their picture. Although people can be hesitant, nervous and sometimes blush, most say yes.

I make regular visits to Lexington, Blacksburg, Roanoke, Radford, Lynchburg and Friday night jamborees in Floyd. If you see me out, feel free to say hi and pose.

Email me anytime, and follow me on Twitter and Facebook.
