What caught my eye: Brian was defiantly on point with summer trends. Plaid shirts have been very popular the last couple years for summer wear, and chinos like his gray ones here have really taken over jeans for the warm months. The suspenders and his bracelets were great details tying the whole look together.

What caught my eye: Caley and Rosey looked like a music duo, taking a casual stroll after sound checks before their show. I’m pretty certain they aren’t in a band but their style was impeccable and favored each other so well.

This was one of those street style moments that make me really love my job.

What caught my eye: This is what I have once called the “prep uniform.” It’s a good go-to look that almost every guy can pull off. The pink flamingos on the bowtie and matching gingham pocket square is really the centerpiece of this look.

What caught my eye: Waqar’s outfit looks very similar to something I wear quite often, casual but still chic and masculine. I like that a Style Street alum — Nathan Skylar Friedlander from 2011 — is one of his style influences. A plus for this outfit.

What caught my eye: I’m not sure I can put Fitzroy into any set style or trend, I think it’s safe to say he has great individual style. Fitzroy was a welcomed find.

What caught my eye: Most vest wearers I see around our area seem to be going for more of a contemporary look. Christian looked very sophisticated in this tweed vest, tie and navy slacks.

What caught my eye: Well-dressed men are hard to find in Roanoke, at least when I’m feeling picky. Dan had that well put-together casual look I dig — the kind of casual when men no longer keep baggy pants and T-shirts in the closet as much as dress shoes, button-downs and sport coats.

How would you describe your personal style? “Unique, not quite radical but not a follower either. I think first impressions are a lasting one and you should dress with that in mind.”

What caught my eye: Onzlee is a dapper gentleman, with the style of a bygone era.

Although he was missing a pocket square, his well-fitted suit made up for this minor detail that I would usually harp over.

He topped his look off with a full-brimmed fedora — icing on the cake with this clean fashion statement.

Chris is following a few of my men’s style rules as well — always pair your suit coat or sports coat with something in the pocket, and pop the coat collar when it’s cold and you’re short a scarf to keep your neck warm.
