Over the coming weeks, we’ll be building out a related Web site and, later this spring, launching a weekly newspaper for Southwest County families. In the meantime, keep coming back to this blog to keep up with what’s happening in our community. I’m Erica Myatt, and I’m the editor for SWoCo. I also live in Southwest County, so I’m really looking forward to capturing all the goings-on in our community. With SWoCo (a little shorthand for Southwest County – a bit like the “OBX” stickers for the Outer Banks), we want to highlight the people and news from our neighborhoods.
