North Cross student appears in Mill Mountain Theatre show

Jonathan Mitchell, a student at North Cross, appears in the new Mill Mountain Theatre production "Into the Woods." That's him over there. No, not the guy. The cow. Jonathan is, um, inside the costume -- scrunched over and using hand-crutches, we're told.

If you're not familiar with the show, it's a Stephen Sondheim musical that features a bunch of fairy tale characters -- in this case, Jack of Jack and the Beanstalk fame and his poor, bedraggled cow, which later got traded away for beans.

The show opens Wednesday and runs through June 29. For more information on show times, see Mill Mountain Theatre.

Way to go, Jonathan!

Having been the plant in Little Shop of Horrors, I know it's difficult to be the guy in the giant puppet.

Can't wait to see the show. It's one of my favorites!
