July 2, 2008Boy Scouts plan fund-raiser on July 5 at Lowe'sOn Saturday, you're likely to see some Boy Scouts in front of Lowe's on U.S. 220. Keith McCurdy tells us why: Pack 2 and Troop 2 are doing a fundraiser on Saturday July 5th at the Lowe's on 220 near Hunting Hills. We are raising money to buy a covered trailer for the troop and pack to use for all of the different events, campouts, camporees, etc that they do each year. We will be serving hot dogs and chicken barbecue from 10 a.m. until 7 p.m. The scouts will be working to raise all of the money instead of just getting the trailer donated or funded by donations. |
