Lynn Hampton submitted this information for Ardell Stone School of Dancing.

Several students of Ardell Stone School of Dancing recently participated in a Summer Dance Intensive Workshop featuring guest teachers from Los Angeles, California and Las Vegas, Nevada.

The workshop was open to all students third grade and older. Al Bee, Biz Burke and Chali Jennings, all professional dancers and choreographers, came to the Ardell Stone studio to teach classes in lyrical, hip-hop, musical theatre and jazz.

Biz Burke is a music producer for the hit TV Show America's Best Dance Crew and the hip hop dancer for Sponge Bob Square Pants among many other credits. Al Bee has been a featured dancer and chroeographer for the Grammy Awards and he is the director of PlanBee Productions. Chali Jennings is one of the most sought after dancers in Los Angeles. Some of her credits include the CMA Awards, That's So Raven and Maroon 5.

The students had a great time and put on a showcase of what they learned at the end of the three day workshop. This type of study enhances the students' progress and exposes them to different styles of dance and choreography. We were very fortunate to have this opportunity for the students in southwest county.

In addition, Al Bee and Chali Jennings will be returning to Roanoke in September to teach more classes at the studio.
