Head-on collision injures two on Garst Mill Road

The Cave Spring Fire Department sends us this information about an accident just after midnight that injured two people on Garst Mill Road:

Early this morning at approx 12:30 there was a 2-vehicle head-on collision on Garst Mill Rd near the Mews apartment complex in Southwest Roanoke County which sent two people to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The vehicles involved were a late model Chevrolet Blazer and a Nissan Altima. Units from the Cave Spring Fire Dept. and the Cave Spring Rescue Squad responded as well as a medic truck from the Back Creek Fire and Rescue Dept. One subject was trapped in the car but was able to be removed without use of the jaws.
