The second annual “Knights in Training” was held for upcoming ninth graders on Friday, August 1 from 2 to 5:30 p.m., followed by a cook out from 5:30 to 6 p.m.

Knights in Training is designed to introduce the new ninth graders to the high school prior to the beginning of the school year.

Students participate in activities such as tours of the school, team building, a Q&A session, Cave Spring High School traditions, and a “Dress Code Do’s and Don’ts Fashion Show”.

A laptop orientation was also included this year to explain laptop policies and Internet safety as well as a “How To Succeed In High School by Really Trying” workshop.

Senior students and students who attended summer school were involved in Knights in Training and the CSHS Cheerleaders helped lead the tours throughout the day.

Check out the gallery of pictures we took here.
