September 4, 2008Cave Spring Optimist Club offers $10,000 for heaviest muskie The Cave Spring Optimist Club is offering $10,000 for whoever catches the heaviest muskie in its Oct. 3-5 charity tournament on Smith Mountain Lake. In his most recent column, outdoors writer Bill Cochran offers some clues as to where to target one of these money fish. We've had previous posts about the Cave Spring Optimist Club and their fishing tournaments on April 24 and May 2.
