Hidden Valley cross country girls win

The Hidden Valley girls took first place and the boys took second in Wednesday's four-team cross-country meet at Greenfield in Botetourt County.

Girls - Overall
1st place - Hidden Valley - 20 pts.
2nd place - Lord Botetourt - 59 pts.
3rd place - Glenvar - 59 pts. (LB won via tie-breaker)
4th place - James River - 112 pts.

Girls - Individual
1. M. Marisco - Glenvar - 19:03
2. M.C. Sowder - Hidden Valley - 21:20
3. A. Lehardy - Hidden Valley - 22:23
4. C. Sibley - Hidden Valley - 23:19
5. L. Skolrood - Hidden Valley - 23:20

Boys - Overall
1st place - Lord Botetourt - 22 pts.
2nd place - Hidden Valley - 39 pts.
3rd place - Glenvar - 109 pts.


Boys - Individual
1. Z. Hunsberger - LB - 18:24
2. B. Leudtke - LB - 19:37
3. C. Hodge - Hidden Valley - 20:14
4. D. Tipton - LB - 20:30
5. M. Leudtke - LB - 20:42

Peter Walton of Lord Botetourt adds: " We had a great meet.. The temperature was in the mid 90's and clear. Great crowd."
