North Cross Raiders pull off huge road win

North Cross varsity volleyball coach Heather Donaho provides this report:

The Varsity volleyball team took the Flames from Eastern Mennonite to five games, coming out on top! It was an exciting match and proved the determination of the team. The Raiders defense was outstanding and made for some long rallies. Sarah Jessee had a career high 21 assists for the match and Marli Dabareiner added another 10 assists. In the last game, 14 of the 15 points were scored off of Sarah Jessee's serving. Kaki Comer and Mary McConaughy combined for 4 blocks and Emma Caveness added 2 solo blocks. Sarah, Marli, Emma and Kaki combined for 27 of the team's 31 kills.
