St. John Lutheran to start DivorceCare program this September

It’s hard to know how to help someone who is going through a divorce. It takes a long time and a lot of work to heal the pain that comes with the breakup of a marriage.

DivorceCare is a special weekly seminar and support group for people who are separated or divorced. DivorceCare for Kids is a complementary program for children ages 6-12.
If you know someone going through a divorce, make sure he or she knows about DivorceCare. It might just be the best thing you could do to help.

This is a 13 week program designed to help those who are struggling with the painful process of divorce. Each lesson is built around a video that deals with one of the major emotions or issues involved in divorce. After the video, participants break into small discussion groups, each facilitated by an individual who has experienced divorce firsthand.

DivorceCare and DC4K seminars meet from 6:30-8:30 p.m. every Tuesday beginning September 23rd at St. John Lutheran Church, 4608 Brambleton Ave. Call 774-0786 ext. 253 for more information.
