September 15, 2008Town hall meeting scheduled in Clearbrook for Sept. 30A Town Hall Meeting will be held September 30, 2008 from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the Clearbrook Civic League Building at 5259 Franklin Road. Sponsored by the Roanoke Area Campaign for Liberty, this will provide a forum for the 6th District Congressional candidates and an opportunity for the citizenry to ask questions of them. Janice Lee Allen, independent candidate and Sam Rasoul, Democratic candidate, have accepted. Bob Goodlatte, Republican incumbent, is at present unable to confirm due to a possible conflict with the congressional session. Jay Warren from WSLS will be the moderator. Seating will be on a first come basis. |
