With the start of school, parents are often burdened with trying to get the right supplies for each of their children in each of their classrooms. Cave Spring Elementary School offers a service for parents and students and works with a company, EPI, to have each grade level’s school supplies pre-packaged for the school year. They call it Wrap Pac.
On Thursday, Aug. 20, students and their parents in grades K-5 were able to pick up their Wrap Pacs. The teachers in all grade levels determine in the spring of each school year what the students should need for the upcoming year, which is then packaged in the Wrap Pac.
The Wrap Pac is completely optional to each family but according to the school usually costs between $29 and $37.25. The hope is that the service will save families money. The service is conducted through the PTA and the school makes no money on the service.
