Bob Henderson of the Miss Roanoke Valley pageant shares this account from the Runway to Recovery fashion show.

On Sunday afternoon, several valley titleholders, former titleholders, and even some of our volunteers participated in the first-ever “Runway to Recovery” fundraiser to benefit Bethany Hall, an addiction recovery program for women here in Roanoke. Participating on behalf of Miss Roanoke Valley was our current Miss Teen, Davanna Law, our former Miss Teen, Katelin Waldron, MRV volunteer Ashley Faucher, and MRV board member, Emily Wood. We also invited Katelin’s sister, Miss Star City’s Outstanding Teen, Lauren Waldron to the party.
